APWA-Pakistan

Friends of All Pakistan Womens Association (FAPWA) is a charitable society established under the Pakistan (Societies) Registration Act in 1949 for the purpose of raising funds for various welfare projects of APWA. For the past several years, APWA projects are being funded through the proceeds of our charity functions.

The Friends of APWA Fundraiser with Alka Yagnik and Abhijeet

The friends of APWA held a fundraiser on Thursday, March 22nd 2007, in order to raise funds to build and run schools run schools and health facilities for the people of Yousof Goth And Kuchra Kundi near Hub, on the border with Balochistan.

The Venue for this musical evening was the majestic Mohatta Palace Museum, and two of India's most acclaimed singers Alka Yagnik and Abhijeet Bhatnacharya were invited to perform at the concert. The main sponsors of this event were the AKD group.
