APWA comes to Texas

In December 2008, the Executive Vice President of APWA visited Dallas, USA and asked a group of ladies to open a chapter of APWA in Dallas. The group is headed by Fouzia Hasan Email: fhasan_99@yahoo.com and Abida Haque as the Coordinator from Houston in a short span of time with the dedicated ladies of Dallas has helped APWA National financially in running the school in Yousuf Goth.They have co-operated the help of IMANA who has now funded the newly opened medical center in Yousuf Goth. The most deprived and under developed area on the border of Baluchistan.

 

APWA is now looking for a donor to buy a vehicle for the doctor to daily visit the area and transfer extremely sick patients to hospitals for special treatment.

APWA Executive thanks the ladies of Dallas and Houston who have been indeed a friend to the women of Yousuf Goth.
