GENERAL FEDERATION OF WOMEN’S CLUB, USA
The General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC), founded in 1890 by Jane Cunningham Croly, a leading New York journalist. It is a federation of over 3,000 local women’s clubs. GFWC remains one of the world’s largest and oldest nonpartisan, nondenominational, women’s volunteer service organizations.
The APWA representative met the President in Korea and began a correspondence with them. The lady was very interested in Pakistan and extremely knowledgeable about women’s affairs pertaining to violence and rights.
