In 1928, in Honolulu, a group of women to establish the Pan Pacific Women’s Association. In 1955, the name was changed to Pan Pacific and South East Asia Women’s Association
PPSEAWA devoted to families, peace and understanding in the Pacific and Southeast Asia.
PPSEAWA has Consultative Status in Category II to the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC)
National Council members with our roots in the anti-slavery movement. it is about achieving equity and security across all endeavors that encompass life in Australia.
APWA sent Ani Marri to a meeting and was extremely successful in conveying APWA’s legal aids for the women/girl child of Pakistan.
